SISU Search offers talent sourcing/recruitment services across a variety of industries, types of jobs, and employment classifications. Our specialty is placing mid-senior level technical talent, however, we have experience sourcing/recruiting candidates in just about every major industry and job type.
SISU Search was founded by Dan Larson. Dan "fell" into the recruiting space in 2015 when he began working for a boutique staffing firm as a Talent Sourcer. SISU Search was founded by Dan Larson. Dan "fell" into the recruiting space in 2015 when he began working for a boutique staffing firm as a Talent Sourcer. With his previous working experience in IT and technical knowledge paired with his knack for building relationships, Dan flourished as a Sourcer/Recruiter. In less than 3 years he was promoted 4 times. During the same time Dan co-founded a blog called the Sourcing Wizard (now WizardSourcer) which developed a large following soon after. Dan quickly became an industry leader when it came to talent sourcing and sharing hacks/best practices. In 2017, after much success and being one of the fastest growing privately help companies in the state, the staffing firm was acquired. Shortly after Dan was recruited to join Hiretual, an AI sourcing software startup as one of it's founding team members. Dan brought his sourcing/recruiting experience, passion for the craft and industry knowledge to help develop Hiretual's software and scale the company. As the 7th employee, Dan wore many hats, helped build out most of the teams but ultimately was the voice of the cutting edge technology and helped bridge the gap between the software and customer. Hiretual soon became the most popular sourcing tool on the market. Over the 4 years that Dan was there, he trained thousands of sourcers/recruiters from all over the world including Fortune 500 talent acquisition teams not only on how to adopt the software to make their lives easier and save companies money but also sourcing/recruiting best practices. Dan became an expert in Diversity sourcing, cleared (security clearance) sourcing, and recruiter outreach/messaging to name a few. He also had the opportunity to speak at multiple sourcing/recruiting conferences. His next and last engagement before commiting to SISU full time was working at LinkedIn. While at LinkedIn, Dan managed a team of technical sourcers/recruiters across various engineering departments such as InfoSec, Data, Systems, Product and AI/ML. While leading a team, Dan also continued to source and helped LinkedIn fill some of their hardest security openings.
